The nullification of election results in Romania, the continued clampdown against the German AfD, and now the barring of Marine Le Pen from running for the Elysee Palace in 2027 all point to a growing tendency by Euro-lib elites to outright suppress opposition.

Ten years on from the start of the migrant crisis, the wheels are very much coming off the political centre across Europe, with Ireland a holdout for now for unipolar liberalism. As a new Trump administration cuts the training wheels off the EU is rushing towards further political centralisation in a bid to fend off the national populist wolf from the door.

Among those hoping to play their part in keeping democracy in check is East Cork’s very own Michael McGrath, taking the purple as of this year with a prime gig at the EU Commission. Tasked with protecting the ‘rule of law’ across the bloc, as speculated by many, the reality of McGrath’s work will be targeting governments and budding populists seeking to bring disorder to Brussels’ grand design of a federalised state spanning Galway to Gdanks.

Slanted Eurocratic reports, the withholding of funding, and carefully crafted alliance with ‘civil society’ are all part of the bag of tricks McGrath can bring to the table when dealing with would-be Orbans Europe-wide.

Within McGrath’s armory is the as of yet unformalised ‘Democracy Shield’, a new regulatory and civil society mechanism designed by Eurocrats to bring the hammer on its opponents.

Without the funding or the economics of scale of America’s once strong NGO empire, the Democracy Shield relies on a variety of EU censorship acts, anti-disinfo protocols, and slush funny money for activists to mobilise populations against hostile regimes within the EU.

Touching down in Budapest this week for liaisons with anti-Orban figures, Slovakia is another hotspot for the Democracy Shield to be deployed as the EU backs an attempted colour revolution against the Vucic government in Serbia.

The previous months after taking up the Commission gig have seen McGrath expand his brief to take on a heavy security dimension as the EU prepares for internal turbulence and growing geopolitical discord.

Acting more in the hopes of keeping a flatlining political project of Big Europe alive than pursuing Ireland’s strategic needs in Brussels, the Democracy Shield is the perfect indictment of everything Euroscepticis ever thought the EU would morph into.

In equal parts pathetic as it is disturbing, the Democracy Shield can also be seen as Brussels’ attempts to plug the gap left by the slashing of USAID by Trump’s new DOGE programme stateside.

While no major Irish NGOs have been listed as part of the Shield as of yet, among the Shield’s partners include the LGBT headbangers at ILGA-Europe, with many feeling the civil society machine is already being trialed in Moldova against Russian interference.

Sustitute the EU for the Totalitarian Soviet Union.
Sustitute the EU Commission for the unelected Politburo.
Sustitute Ursula van der Lyen for the unelected Gen Sec of the Communist Party.
Sustitute the ECB for the single State Bank of Soviet Union, Gosbank.
Sustitute EU political interference in Romania, France and Germanys Afd, for Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia and Hungary, to impose centralised control.
Europe has sleep walked into a new Totalitarian era fed by lies and
deceptions from the beginning of the Common Market.

  2. Will McGrath do anything about the criminality in the Irish elections? A Remigration candidate was physically attacked at the count centre by a civil sevant. Staff at the polling booths and count centres are sometimes rude and aggressive. Do they have something to hide?

Another Remigration candidate spent three days in Limerick jail because she asked questions about Garda involvement in rigging the elections. Is it illegal to ask questions now?

Every shoulder to the wheel. We must somehow get the politicians out and we must get the dodgy foreigners back to their home countries.

    ☘
The Shit and the Fan…Scam and the Scammed…Fools and the Fooled.

The EEC grew from it’s founding 6 European Countries to it’s current 27
European Countries…therefore its workforce also grew by the thousands.

In the same period the Irisk Government grew in numbers and including Civil / Public Servants…also grew by the thousands.

In that same period too NGOs in Ireland GREW IN NUMBERS to it’s current 33+ thousands…therefore its workforce grew by the thousands.

In That Same Time…€ Millions Bacame € BILLIONS to TAXPAYERS.

As long as Taxfunded Parasites in EU / NGO / Government are allowed to grow, while YOU don’t, make laws YOU don’t want, and continue to expand it’s workforce BY THOUSANDS INDEFINATELY… then YOU

AND YOU ALONE….are entirely at their mercy AND CONTROL
this truth was born and experienced during LOCKDOWN and although you all know that YOU WERE SHAFTED…You refuse to admit it.

YOU DON’T NEED THEM…THEY NEED YOU AND YOUR MONEY.

The EU has morphed into a Totalitarian, despotic organisation with but one aim to retain and extend its power.
All bureaucracies tend to jstify themselves by enlarging their power and numbers.
Its all about the money and privilege at any cost ,even the 800 billion they wish to spend on a European Army ,to go to war with Russia.
A lost cause before they begin.
